Terms of Service

1. The service

Clipsage is a Chrome extension and accompanying web service that helps users save web pages to Notion workspaces. By installing or using Clipsage, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent. You must have a valid Notion account.

3. Subscription & payment

Paid features require a subscription via ExtensionPay/Stripe or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Pre-launch lifetime purchases: If we do not ship the product by Sep 1, 2026, you are entitled to a full refund. After ship, lifetime means the lifetime of the service (not of the buyer).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code, (b) use the service to violate Notion's terms or any third-party site's terms, (c) abuse rate limits, (d) resell access without permission.

5. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available. No uptime SLA is guaranteed for non-enterprise tiers. Outages do not entitle you to refunds for paid subscriptions, but extended outages may at our discretion.

6. Liability

Clipsage is provided "as is." We are not liable for: lost clips, Notion outages, third-party service failures, or any indirect/consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

7. Data ownership

You own all content you save through Clipsage. We claim no rights to it.

8. Termination

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Termination does not entitle either party to a pro-rated refund except as required by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email to subscribers and a banner on the marketing site. Continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

Australian law. Venue: courts of New South Wales, Australia.
