Privacy Policy

What data we collect

Clipsage is a Chrome extension that connects to your Notion workspace. The data we handle:

Notion OAuth token: Stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local). We never see or store this on our servers.
Email address: If you subscribe to our newsletter or purchase a lifetime license, we store your email for transactional purposes only.
Article text (transient): When you clip a page, the article text is sent to our AI tagging service (Claude API by Anthropic) to suggest tags. We do NOT store this text. It is processed in-memory and discarded.
Subscription status: Managed by ExtensionPay (a third-party service) and cached locally.

We do NOT track your browsing history.
We do NOT collect analytics from within the extension.
We do NOT sell your data. Ever.
We do NOT use your clipped content for AI training (Anthropic's API doesn't either, per their commercial terms).

Notion: All clipped content is stored in YOUR Notion workspace, governed by Notion's privacy policy.
Anthropic: AI tagging requests are processed by Claude API. Anthropic's privacy policy.
ExtensionPay + Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy.
Cloudflare: Our backend proxy runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare's privacy policy.

You can request deletion of any data we have about you (email, subscription record) by emailing privacy@clipsage.dev. We will action within 30 days.

Clipsage is operated by AxaronVR (Daniel Rendon, sole trader, Australia). Disputes are governed by Australian law.
